Home guard on poll duty dies of heart attack


Dehradun, Apr 11 (IANS): A home guard, who was on election duty in Haridwar district of Uttarakhand died of a heart attack on Thursday, police sources said.

Dharam Pal (40), a native of Lakhimpur Kheri district in Uttar Pradesh, was deployed in Haridwar for general election duty.
