BJP demands re-polling in 297 West Bengal booths

New Delhi, Apr 12 (IANS): A BJP delegation on Friday approached the Election Commission (EC) demanding re-polling in 297 booths in West Bengal's Cooch Behar Lok Sabha constituency that voted on Thursday in the first phase of polling.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) delegation also urged the poll body to ensure deployment of central forces in all polling booths for free and fair elections.

The delegation, comprising Union Ministers Nirmala Sitharaman and Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and its media head Anil Baluni, submitted to the EC a memorandum, accusing the Trinamool Congress (TMC) of rigging during the first phase of polling.

"TMC goons prevented people from voting in West Bengal on Thursday. We demanded re-polling and stationing of two CAPF soldiers in every booth in the state," Naqvi told reporters.

Hitting out at West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, he said: "There were instances of rigging and booth capture... 'goondagardi' (hooliganism) was done by TMC's 'goondas' during the first phase of polling."

Cooch Behar's BJP candidate Nishit Pramanik had held a protest in front of the District Magistrate's office on Thursday evening, demanding a re-poll in all the booths where central forces were not deployed.

The whole nation wants EVM to be scrapped or else Voter-verifiable paper audit trail (VVPAT) or verifiable paper record (VPR)attached to the EVM should provide the slip to the voters to the respective candidate he has pressed the button and the other copy of the slip should be dropped inside the VVPAT.

    1. If entire ballot boxes can be counted in 12 hours, why can't EVM and VVPAT for all the seats can be done?
    2. How does the Election Commission of India will ensure the microchip imported from the United States are free from pre-programmed and not proven to 'Salami Fraud'?(The salami fraud. In the salami technique, criminals steal money or resources a bit at a time).
    3. Why every election in India EVM 'Malfunction' and replaced by non-audited EVM?
    4. Why the auditing of the EVM manufacture and total orders are not matching? Does ECI have an audit trail of the missing EVM's?

The many voters of India are not aware that, BJP has miss used the 'Pulwama attack' and used the same timing to replace the polling officials inclined to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. In most of the seats, machines are pre-programmed in such a way that BJP candidate will win with a narrow margin in order to look the fight tough.
If one carefully analyzes the all-state assembly elections recently held the BJP's seat is very close to the halfway margin. This shortfall will be later wooed to the party using the money, muscle and administrative power through 'Operation Kamala'. At the same time, BJP has retained the same candidates for most of the seats despite the poor performance of the candidates.

Surprisingly, now Pakistan Prime Minister too wanted NAMO Modi to come back to power who are at war couple of week ago. The BJP using armed forces for election victory by deflecting the voters from its failed policies and corruption in defense are clear signs of some understanding with Pakistan government.
