PM most anti-national, dividing nation: Rahul

Kannur (Kerala), Apr 17 (IANS): Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for being the "most anti-national" and accused him of "dividing the nation".

Reacting to Modi's allegation of the Congress turning anti-national, Gandhi said his grand old party has an exceptional track record of fighting forces that attack the nation.

"Thousands of Congress workers have laid down their lives, fighting such forces. Today the most anti-national act is the act of Modi who is dividing the nation," said Gandhi as he kicked off his day-long campaign here in Kerala.

"Crippling the agricultural system, leading to farmers suicide is another anti-national act of Modi. Youths loosing their jobs is also another anti-national act. Modi has failed in all these and it's time that he answers," he told the media at a presser here.

Gandhi said the three key issues ruling the 2019 Lok Sabha polls are destruction of the Indian economy, personal corruption of Modi and the plight of the farmers.

"We are looking forward to forming the next government," said Gandhi as he was about to leave, when a few questions were hurled at him.

The Congress leader, taking them returned to his seat sporting a smile, and said: "How come the Prime Minister does not have the guts to face the Kerala, Odisha or the Delhi media?"

From Kannur, Gandhi will make a whirlwind visit to five assembly constituencies in the Wayanad Lok Sabha constituency, from where he is contesting the polls.

He is also fighting from his traditional Amethi Lok Sabha seat.

Modi is like a Migratory Crow that shows his face for elections and then conveniently forgets everything. His only occupation is to keep attacking the Congress in his Tele Prompters election speeches. Not a word he mentions about his achievements of his five years rule becoz there is none only Jhumla of Gujarat Model of Devlopment, Saab Ka Saat Saab Ka Vikas , Na Kaunga Na Kilanunga endless Jhumlas.

Ha and Amit Shah have only been indulging in elections to polarise people and divide people. Qualifies to be a Anti National. Vajpayee was also a staunch RSS man but the country was above his affiliations to the RSS and the BJP. He was acceptable across the country. Modi has caused more harm to the unity of the country unmindful of the long term implications of dividing people. His tarck record in Governance has been a Disaster and his continuation would be a Calamaty for the country. People of South India have led the country in the past in the direction that is disireable and should do so at this critical junture in its History.

This is the track record of Modi's Governance. "The Modi government has been a failure on all fronts and has inflicted pain and misery on the people through its reckless decisions of demonetisation and hasty imposition of a flawed GST, demonetization and GST disrupted the economy, trade and industry, led to closure of lakhs of factories and tens of millions of workers lost their jobs and livelihood. The unprecedented joblessness, agrarian crisis and distress of farmers and agricultural laborers are issues of grave national concern. The Modi government is guilty of monumental mismanagement of the Indian economy.

No accountability at all for corruption during the last five years. Corruption has become rampant across the country. After the next Govt is formed all the skeletons in the BJP vast array of hidden cupboards will be exposed including the Rafale Scam.

Modi Sarkar Ko Hatao. Desh Ko Bachao.

Congress cannot win more than 100 seats. You cannot be an effective PM . Mixing all ideologies just to get to power will only lead to a UPA 2 .Fully corrupt . Coalition compulsions will lead to a mess.Set your house in order and fight for 2024.
