Jhunjhunwala doubts BJP getting majority

New Delhi, Apr 18 (IANS): Changing his earlier stance, billionaire investor and trader Rakesh Jhunjhunwala has said that the ruling BJP may not get a clear majority in the Lok Sabha elections.

He, however, said the party would be a major partner in the next government at the Centre.

Jhunjhunwala's current position is different from his view in February when he had predicted that Narendra Modi-led BJP would come back to power with a comfortable majority.

The first phase of elections ended on April 11. The Lok Sabha Election 2019 will be conducted in seven phases and counting will be held on May 23.

Talking about market trends, the ace investor said the poor had not benefited from the bull-run in the markets in the past four decades.

Jhunjhunwala advised the market participants to exercise caution and wait till the end of the elections to be aggressive and invest.

One by one experts are changing their opinion after the first phase of voting. They have already sensed the trend and mindset of the voters. Whatever, the Godi Media bluffs with their predictions, the reality is different. Don't under estimate the power of voter. Janta sub kuch jaanthi hai. Janta ko dabane ki koshish karoge, khudh dab javoge Chowkidar saab. Ab ki baar Chowkidar ana mushkil hi nahi, na mumkin hai. Hum janta hai, kisi ki katputli nahi. Humhe, kamzor mat samajna chowkidar saab.
Hum bana sakthe hai tho, bhighad sakthe hein.
    Ab ki baar, badlo Sarkar.

But all investors in stock market are secretly praying for Modi to win with absolute majority.
You see the graph of any share in the market, it has risen sharply upwards after 2014. I have 37 listed companies in my portfolio, each having a growth of more than 24% per annum since 2014. Why would I let go of this government??

In this world, no one is indispensable. When we go to a cemetery, we can see the tombs of many, who thought world would end without them. There is only one person, who is indispensable, that is the creator.
