Bahrain, Mar 25: Bunts Bahrain organized a ‘Satyanarayana Puja’ recently at the Sri Krishna Mandir in Manama.
 
Numerous members of the Bunts community attended the Puja with great fervour attired in a traditional manner.

The ceremony had all the markings of a similar event held back home. The devotees also sang devotional songs enhancing the religious fervor of the event in the desert country. 

Bunts Bahrain president Pradeep Shetty welcomed the gathering and urged the support of community brethren in organizing many more programmes throughout his term.  Chief secretary Arun Shetty thanked all those present after the ‘Mangala Arati’.
 
The programme was attended by over 800 expatriate Indians.  Sri Krishna Mandir priest Phanindra Kumar performed Vedic rites and blessed the gathering during the Puja.  The programme concluded with a sumptuous lunch.
