Belagavi, Apr 23: "My tendering of resignation is definite. I am in Congress party only for technical reasons. I know my responsibilities. I am not a person who throws stones under the cover of darkness. I will take decision in this regard at the right time," said Congress MLA from Gokak Ramesh Jarkiholi.

Ramesh was speaking to the scribes after casting his vote in Lok Sabha elections. He further said, "I have cast my vote with the intention of goodness of this country. Let us see in the coming days. I am in the Congress party only for technical reasons. I will decide about the resignation in the coming days."

"As a senior, MLA Satish Jarkiholi should not speak like a mentally deranged person. Being an MLA five times, I am speaking with responsibility," fumed Ramesh at his brother Satish.

Ramesh further said, "I support Lakhan Jarkiholi regardless of his constituency of contention. Earlier, Satish Jarkiholi has spoilt one brother by bringing him into politics. Now it is the turn of another. People who have arrived into Congress party are troubling the traditional Congress members." By this statement Ramesh was taunting at his brother Satish as he had come from Janata Dal to the Congress party.

Praising state BJP president B S Yeddyurappa, Ramesh said, "When BJP party person Ramesh Katti got angry as he did not get the party ticket, Yeddyurappa rushed to Belagavi within four to five hours and pacified him. But no one from the Congress party have spoken to me till now."
