Pragya's safety cover fortified, may get Z-security

Bhopal, Apr 24 (IANS): The security cover of Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from the Bhopal Lok Sabha constituency, was strengthened on Wednesday, officials said.

The decision was taken a day after a man holding black flag approached Thakur while she was filing her nomination papers on Tuesday. Her supporters later thrashed the man.

Besides heightening the security at her residence, the number of security personnel around her has also been increased.

According to informed sources, Thakur may be provided Z-category security.

She is contesting the Lok Sabha elections against former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh.

    What kind of nonsense is this? Why is the tax payers' money being spent on an anti national? She should be rotting in jail but look at the audacity of this government to increase her security. This is utter misuse of power by the government. Are we made to pay GST and taxes for this nonsense?. That is why I have been shouting that we need a competent and strong opposition. This is not democracy, this is Hitler rule.

    Fortifying safety cover and providing Z security used to be for terrorists in Pakistan. After 2014 this adventurism has been imported to India. She is Modi choice pick to contest election who was out of jail on health conditions but criminal case is still pending. This is how Modi is making India terror free???!!!!?....
