SC asks EC to consider starting polling at 5 a.m.


New Delhi, May 2 (IANS): The Supreme Court on Thursday asked the Election Commission to pass necessary orders on a plea seeking to begin voting at 5 a.m. instead of 7 a.m. in view of the Ramzan month.

It is coinciding with the remaining phases of voting in general elections.
