Delhi state schools pass percentage up by 3.6 points: Sisodia


New Delhi, May 2 (IANS): Over 94 per cent of the students of Delhi government schools passed the CBSE's Class 12 exams as per the results declared on Thursday.

Sharing the data, Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia said the results showed an increase of 3.6 percentage points over last year.

"Congratulations students, teachers, parents and team Education of Delhi Government for beating your own record of last year's class 12 CBSE exam," he tweeted.

"Proud to announce that this year, 94.24 per cent students of Delhi government schools passed the exam, an increase of 3.6 percentage points over last year," he said.

The schools outperformed the city's overall pass percentage of 91.87 per cent.
