Cong crying 'me too, me too' on surgical strikes: PM Modi

Sikar, May 3 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday took a dig at the Congress' claim of six surgical strikes being conducted during the UPA tenure, saying the party is now trying to prove that such military actions were also undertaken during its term, which he dismissed as "strikes carried out on paper while sitting in AC rooms".

Addressing a rally in Sikar in Rajasthan, Modi said, "On Thursday, a senior Congress leader claimed that several surgical strikes were carried out during the UPA tenure.

"First they (Congress) ridiculed this fact, then people started mocking them, they then protested the facts and people started protesting their claims and now they are saying 'me too, me too', trying to prove surgical strikes were also conducted during their term. "They have also brought out dates of these surgical strikes," he said.

He questioned what kind of strikes these were as neither the terrorists nor Pakistan or even the people of India knew about them.

Making light of the Congress' claims, he said, "Only that party can carry out surgical strikes on paper while sitting in AC rooms. Initially, they claimed to have carried out three strikes while on Thursday, they increased this number and stretched it to six. In the coming days, they will say that they conducted surgical strikes daily".

India-Pakistan conflict will be bloodier than World War. Since the partition of British India in 1947 and creation of modern states of India and Pakistan, the two countries have been involved in a number of wars, conflicts and military stand-offs.

Under the Congress leadership Indo-Pakistani War of 1947, 1965 and 1971 has won and liberated 'East-Pakistan' to create Bangladesh eliminating easter front threat.

On February 28, 1966, the fighting volunteers of the Mizo National Front launched Operation Jericho to throw out Indian forces stationed in Mizoram – launching simultaneous attacks on Assam Rifles garrisons in Aizawl and Lunglei. The next day, the Mizo National Front declared independence from India. 50 years ago today, Indira Gandhi got the Indian Air Force to bomb the terrorist with zero tolerance.
But PM Modi after coming to power which gives sermons of 'nationalism' to others peace agreement drafted by RSS Draft Plan for Nagaland Accord that will give all the top-ranking leaders of all Naga militant organisations will be honoured by giving them the equivalent ranks/spots as governors, ambassadors, officials in the Army and other security forces provided they have requisite academic qualifications, sound health and above all, a will to serve the nation as a dignified soldier/central government officers.
The BJP has also had an alliance with the PDP in Kashmir until itself caught in 'Me too' allegation flaunting with the party which openly supported Afzal Guru.

The PM who himself fearing Asli BSF soldier who wanted to contest against him got canceled his nomination with the weird reasons.

The surgical strikes carried out by UPA/Congress are well recorded and documented. The whole world knows about it. They did it for security reasons, with a view deterring the enemy venture on adventurism against India. Not to garner votes. It is the present govt which is crying, I did it, I did it and hiding behind armed forces.

Congress has done surgical strikes and much bigger than surgical strikes with all evidence and proof approved worldwide which you can not fathom. In fact you have done surgical strikes only by your big mouth without any proof or evidence. Only surgical strikes you have done with solid evidence and proof is on your own citizens and armed forces.

    Dear Mr. Modi,

Congress is not 'kiss and tell' party like BJP. Obviously there were surgical strike but at the discretion of the Army with information (only) to FM/PM. None of the Ministers went ahead and thumped their chest as they did it.

Its you, Mr. Modi are crying 'Me Too' as if its you who went there and did the strike. Also, shame on your boasting about Balakot, an incident you couldn't submit an iota of proof. All you did is cut off some trees - that's all ! I have a disgust even imagining an image of my nation's PM. Horrible !
