CJI case: 'Shocked' complainant seeks copy of probe report

New Delhi, May 7 (IANS): A woman who accused Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi of sexual harassment on Tuesday asked the apex court's in-house probe committee for a copy of the report giving a clean chit to the CJI on all charges.

"I have a right to know how, why and on what basis have your Lordships found my complaint to have 'no substance'," the complainant said, adding she was "deeply shocked" on the outcome of the committee's findings.

"Despite my detailed affidavit, ample corroborative evidence and clear, consistent statement reiterating my experience of sexual harassment and consequent victimisation, the Committee has found no substance in my complaint and affidavit," she said.

It's complainant who lodge the complaint and has every right by the constitution to have the report on the conclusion of the case and its verdict by RTI. Is SC forgetting its a democratic country and not a banana republic or dictatorship, or military regime???!!!!... Earlier SC denied her to meet and consult with her lawyer. Now it's concluding this case between its own people without participation of the complaintant and giving a verdict without even intimating the complaintant. What type of one sided judiciary and judgement is this????.. Country as a whole is utterly 'Shocked' by this strange behaviour of SC. This is protectionism and favouritism by SC to guilty. This is not Justice by any measure.
