Bengaluru, May 8: There are signs of the controversial audio clip said to be containing B S Yeddyurappa's conversation with a JD(S) leader in a bid to convince him to join the saffron party, which had stirred up a hornet's nest sometime back, claiming the centre stage again soon.

Karnataka home minister, M B Patil, said that the formation of investigation team to look into the issue as per a decision taken earlier, was delayed because of Lok Sabha election. He said that the chief minister will act in this matter at the earliest. He stated that a decision on the formation of the team would be taken after May 23.

The said audio is said to contain an offer made in Yeddyurappa's voice to a leader from the other party to join the BJP. This issue had claimed several hours of the state assembly time. Finally, the government had decided to appoint an investigation team to look into the matter, but the team formation has been pending.
