Many women have nurturing instinct: Dennis Quaid

Los Angeles, May 8 (IANS): Actor Dennis Quaid feels women have a nurturing instinct, and his upcoming film "A Dog's Journey" focuses on the quality.

After starring in 2017 film "A Dog's Purpose", Quaid will be back as Ethan in its sequel "A Dog's Journey".

"Ethan has now married the love of his life, he was a very lonely figure before, one who liked solitude and felt alienated from the world. He's grown a lot and is much happier than he was before." Quaid said in a statement.

He also appreciated how Ethan and his dog Bailey's story has expanded. "Bailey's present within the family circle now, the bond is stronger."

The actor continued: "Many women have a nurturing instinct, and that's present in this film."

On his role, Quaid said: "Ethan still doesn't quite know how to handle the conflict between Gloria and the rest of the family. He just wants peace in the house. So, it gives me something to really play off of, because Ethan is surrounded by women, except for Bailey, who goes everywhere with him."

Directed by Gail Mancuso, the film is set to release in India on May 17 by Reliance Entertainment.
