Amethi youth writes letter in blood to EC

Amethi, May 8 (IANS): A young man from Amethi has sent a letter written in blood to the Election Commission seeking a directive for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to abstain from making objectionable comments that hurt the sentiments of the people.

Manoj Kashyap of Shahgarh in Amethi has written that he was 'traumatised' by the statements of the Prime Minister against late Rajiv Gandhi.

He has written that the former Prime Minister lowered the voting age to 18 years, implemented the Panchayati Raj system and brought in the computer revolution in the country.

"Former Prime Minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee had also praised Rajiv Gandhi in an article," he pointed out.

He further writes that for the people of Amethi anyone who insults Rajiv Gandhi is akin to those who assassinated him.

Kashyap wrote that Rajiv Gandhi lives on in the hearts of the people of Amethi and also the country and the Prime Minister must be directed not to make such remarks against the late leader.

The reference was obviously to the Prime Minister referring to late Rajiv Gandhi as ‘Bhrashtachari No I' in a recent election rally.

Kashyap further said that his letter had no political overtones and he felt emotionally connected to the late leader.

The letter has been shared on the Twitter handle of Congress MLC Deepak Singh.

    Cultureless !
Modi is overtaken by pride lowering & neglecting all the ethics of humanity.
His colour also keeps changing and of late he looks as if burning with rage and vengeance from inside.
    Pain is temporary
    But pride is for ever.
Time will definitely approach to settle his ego.

Never in the history of Independent India has a PM stooped to such low levels of invoking a dead leaders name for the wrong reasons. What can we otherwise expect from an uneducated PM who will go to any length in his lust for power.

Bhakths want to believe all Indians were homeless, illiterate, poor, hungry and terrorists, prior to 2014.
There are millions of such kind, sitting in their cozy homes, eating KFC, using computers some even NRI sitting abroad too endorse that.

What they don't realize is, their own jobs are at stake because of Modi policies, millions have lost their jobs, whatever money that they have in banks can vanish if Modi comes again, farmers, soldiers, middle class families are in great despair and frustrated. They know very well, Modi has made a mess of everything in past 5years.

What one can make of it is simple. A blind leading the blind.
