Mumbai, May 8 (IANS): One person was killed and a senior citizen injured when a portion of a single-storey tenement collapsed in Kurla here on Wednesday morning, officials said.
The incident occurred at the structure of Pathan Chawl in Qureshi Nagar of the congested Kurla suburb, said the BMC Disaster Control.
A 65-year-old woman, Rahemadi, was rescued with minor injuries while Abdul Rashid Qureshi, 48, was brought dead to the Sion Hospital.
