Karnataka BJP leader Srinivasa Prasad disapproves Modi’s description of Rajiv Gandhi

Daijiworld Media Network - New Delhi (SR)

New Delhi, May 9: "Nobody believes Rajiv Gandhi died due to corruption allegations, even I don’t believe it. He died in an LTTE planned assassination. I have lot of respect for Modi ji, but it was not necessary for him to speak against Rajiv Gandhi," said Srinivasa Prasad, in response to queries from the ANI media, as reported in NDTV.

Srinivasa Prasad, a former Parliamentarian who served as a minister in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government, said he knew the late Gandhi too well from close quarters, and assured that the late PM never indulged in corruption.

Referring to the allegations of corruption that had surfaced against Rajiv Gandhi in the Bofors case, PM Modi on last week said at a rally in Uttar Pradesh “Your father was termed 'Mr Clean' by his courtiers, but his life ended as ''Bhrashtachari No 1''.

Modi’s remarks sparked angry reactions from the Congress leaders, and AICC president Rahul Gandhi told him that “Karma awaits you. Projecting your inner beliefs about yourself onto my father won’t protect you.” The Congress party even moved the Election Commission on this issue.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also lashed out at PM Modi and said, "People who lay down their lives for the country, they should be respected. Yesterday, you called Rajiv Gandhi corrupted Prime Minister. Today you are calling me 'tolabaaz'. If I am a tolabaaz, what are you? What are you? Your entire body - from head to feet - is drenched in the blood of people. Only riots and only riots."

I am ashamed of this man called Modi. He has brought disgrace to the august chair he is occupying. Although he is the PM of this great nation, he is speaking like a man in the street. Slowly but surely his true colours are coming out.

It has now transpired or has been brought to light that INS Virat and a few of our submarines
on 'Nation Protection' had been used for the indulgence of our former Prime Minister, his family,
his wife's extended family, friends of the Gandhis for a vacation of nearly 2 weeks!!
    Can anybody imagine this...?
This 'sense of entitlement' ,that the whole of India is their 'ancestral property' has been the root cause
of the failure of the present era of left over Gandhis... This assessment is without bias... the facts with records are there for all to see...
Are Navy officials, admirals ..the ones to attend the 'PM's family and his wife's extended family'..?
That too on 'vehicles concerned with the safety ' of our country? This is an issue of serious concern...

For what Rajiv Gandhi did, the nation punished him in 1989. Why is this topic being brought up again now? Many summers have passed since then and many governments have come and gone, including 2 BJP led governments and 2 Congress led ones. Why is chowkidar ranting about what happened 32 years ago? Is he fighting Rajiv Gandhi today or is Rajiv's ghost haunting him and giving him sleepless nights?.
We are in 2019 and the topic should be what Modi has achieved in the last 5 years since he was given the mandate. Today when people chant Chowkidar chor hai the BJP, Modi and brainwashed bhakts get rattled, yet in 1989 BJP's chant was the loudest calling Rajiv Gandhi chor. The congress did not cry MUMMY then. Earlier when the congress was in power it was the BJP complaining the loudest saying that the Gandhi's only concentrate on Amethi and Rae Bareili , yet now its candidate Smriti Irani goes about crying that there has been not development in Amethi. These are the double standards and double speak of the BJP

Fear of loosing the election made Modi talk all rubbish, so as his andh bhakths and Bhandu Maam is no exception. Naturally as a staunch supporter of Modi, he has to follow his master and believe his words, even though his inner soul does not agree.

These days PM Modi is relentlesly giving lot of negative speeches. It's very unhealthy.
Shri Srinivasa Prasadji, please prescribe some good yoga mudras or asanas to PM Modi to ward of negative thoughts and words.
Elected representatives, legislators are supposed to be role models to the nation and its people.
They are paid by the people of this country; they should engage their time and energy towards constructive thoughts and work and not destructive words and actions. Hope better sense prevail.
