23-year-old woman gang-raped in outskirts of Mysuru

Mysuru, May 10: A 23-year-old woman was reportedly gang-raped by three persons at Lingambudi Palya in the outskirts of the city at around 10.30 pm on Wednesday night.

The accused persons are yet to be identified.

As per details available, the woman was unmarried and she was with her married friend when the incident took place. It is said that the woman had developed a friendship with the man over Facebook and hence they had decided to meet each other on that night at the abandoned place in a private layout, in the area.

The suspects, who were consuming liquor nearby came to the duo, attacked the man and later allegedly gang-raped the woman.

Inspector General of Police (Southern Range) Umesh Kumar, Superintendent of Police Amit Singh and others visited the spot.

The police have registered cases under IPC Section 376 and 379 and are investigating the case. The hunt is on to apprehend the culprits.

    No decent women will meet man or man meet a woman on abandoned outskirts area in the night forget the day. Facebook is a nice place for booking. It is common for women to say she is in flesh trade due to financial trouble " who is not".

    Secondly just because the law is lenient to women they get away with excuses or lies and police are lenient too.

    Because of "whom" and "why" a lady goes into prostitution or flesh trade? Is it possible without a man? If man never approached a lady, "flesh trade" or "prostitution" would not have reached to this height. Man is not happy with his life partner.. He wants to go out when his wealth multiplies.     In Karnataka and Kerala more people are educated. Therefore it is coming in news. Doi not think that, if there is no news of rape in north india means no rapes at all. Compare to South, in North India there are more rapes. But since people are supporting rapist noboidy dare to file case. Best examples are:
    Kathua rape case - Ministers attended in support of accused.
    The Ruchika Girhotra Case
    Rape by priest in temple at Dhoom Manikpur village in the Badalpur police station area on July 9, 2018.

    How come you blame her alone for spoiling a marriage ? Is the man an adult, or an infant ? Doesn't he have a promise to keep, given to the woman he married ?

    Rape is not a punishment for such offenses and those who did that aren't part of judicial. Do not wish a woman undergoes such heinous situation, never in life.

    Don't speak so cheap about that lady. When that man is married why he wanted to develop extra marital affair with another woman?? He is married and must be having kids. Why he should support and encourage that lady and to call her to a lovely place in that night? He must have lied to her in facebook that he is already been married. Only police inquiry revealed the truth. Has he not cheated his wife, kids his and her family as well as this woman? Men who raped her are his only friends may be.. Who knows?? That's why, this idiot has taken her to that place..... Why do you say only she got punishment? When you speak justice, speak on the either side.. Some men find only dust particle in the eyes of women whereas they are unable to see the branch lying in the eyes of such cheaters who rape, molest, and make use and throw ladies..

    Lancer..you are saying women generally target a man from a good family and ruin the lives of his wife and children. When you say "good family , why that man going wants to have illicit affair with another llady, when he knows he has wife and children? When he has a female company life long on the way of his married life, why that man look forward an outsider ? If he is married and having children means...is he not matured? Does he not known what is good and bad for a successful married life? Is that married man spoon feeding baby to say other women target and spoil his married life ?.
