Mother commits suicide as son fails Class 12 exam

Jammu, May 14 (IANS): A mother committed suicide on Tuesday in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba district after her son failed in the Class 12 board exam.

The woman, identified as Neelam Devi, belonged to Taloor village in Samba district, said the police.

"Her family and neighbours said that she was disturbed after her son failed the Class 12 exams and consumed some poison to end her life," a police officer said.
