I will die, but will never insult his mother, father : Rahul to Modi

New Delhi, May 14 (With inputs from PTI) : Rahul Gandhi vows to never insult Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother and father despite the latter attacking the former’s party and the Nehru-Gandhi family in recent times. Gandhi says he will retaliate with love but never resort to insulting Modi’s parents.

“I will die, but will never insult his mother and father”, Rahul Gandhi has stated, as quoted by PTI news agency. Modi’s hatred filled rhetoric towards Rahul Gandhi’s grandfather, father and mother will be returned with love, Gandhi says.

Personal comments have made their way into the political narrative of the two leaders as the last round of polling remains. Rahul Gandhi responds with “love and hugs” while the PM calls his father “corrupt no.1”. Meanwhile, Mamata Banerjee is much less forgiving in her statement of hitting Modi with the “slap of democracy”.

The verbal onslaught goes back and forth as Priyanka Gandhi calls Modi “Duryodhan” and Modi accuses Rajiv Gandhi and family of going on vacation on Navy’s INS Virat, claiming they have compromised national security, at a rally in Delhi last week.

It is very clear that Modis campaign has been smeared with hatred towards the Gandhi family. I think we need to look forward and talk about development. Instead of simply digging the past and insulting our previous leaders will not take anywhere. Lets us move forward look ahead and maybe there be no hatred. I feel Rahul Gandhi has been more decent than Modi in the election campaign this time.I also feel Rahul Gandhi is the man for the future. Once called Papu today he is the favourite of most. Congress will make large progress in states like UP Rajasthan Bihar Maharastra and in other northern states. I feel Modi is likely to lose this election and it will be Rahul Gandhi who will be leading India forward. He's a man of great strength decency

This is what we can expect from a Uneducated and Uncultured Prime Minister that he invokes even the dead Matyrs to save his dwindling political fortunes. Never in Independent India has we witnessed a PM stooping to such low levels to win elections. Modi will go down in History as the worst PM we have had since Independence. The earlier he goes the better it is for our beloved country. It will be good riddance to bad rubbish.

Modi should be thankful for Rahul Gandhi having Nehru-Gandhi family ancestry without which Modi wouldn't have anything to talk about congress which Modi himself is lacking to have one because of deserting his own family and then wife. Modi can not talk about Rahul's family from getting independence till ground breaking economic reforms by congress then Modi may not have anything to counter those developments other than series of failures and disasters without a single success story. Appreciate Rahul Gandhi's guts to accept Modi's insults with lot of maturity, wisedom and love.

What corruption charges Modi's Parents are having to speak about them? I guess he didn't understood why his parents name was taken . Modi took their name for corruption charges and not to just pull his legs.
