Explosion in Guwahati, 5 injured

Guwahati, May 15 (IANS): At least five persons were reportedly injured in a blast outside a shopping mall here on Wednesday evening.

Senior police officials rushed to the spot but refrained from making any comment about the nature of the blast.

Eyewitnesses said the explosion took place in front of the shopping mall, Guwahati Central, located in Jonali area of the city.

Local residents said all the injured were rushed to hospitals.
