Bahrain, Apr 14:  The annual cricket tournament of the Guru Seva Samithi, Bahrain Billawas was held here on Friday, April 10 at the Salmaniya ground.  It was a day of grand fun and frolic as both gents and ladies members of Guru Seva Samithi participated in the tournament. 

There were 10 teams consisting of 7 players in each team.  The cricket festival was inaugurated by Shivappa Poojary, senior member and advisor of Billawas community followed by Rajkumar, the president of Billawas. 



The cricket tournament was played on league basis. At the end of the day team led by Ashwin won the trophy and the team led by Suresh was the runners up.  Man of the match was Kartik and Poornima was declared as lady of the game and best fielder.

Nissan Motors chief marketing officer Kartik was the sponsor and gave away the prizes.  More than 100 members and their families enjoyed whole day at the Salmaniya ground.
