Walls of dynastic politics have shown cracks: Yogi

Gorakhpur, May 19 (IANS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath cast his ballot here on Sunday and said the walls of casteism, regionalism and dynastic politics were now showing cracks.

After casting his vote, Adityanath told the media: "If you work in the interest of the country then only you can stay in the public life. In all the seven phases of the Lok Sabha polls, the entire election was fought around Modi due to the works of his government in the last five years."

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader said that a record number of voters participated in the six phases of the elections.

"The excitement among voters only showcases the maturity of India's democracy," he said.

"And I am happy that the elections so far has been peaceful and the people of the state have respected their democratic right," he added.

Voting began at 7 a.m., across 25,874 polling booths in Uttar Pradesh's Maharajganj, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar, Deoria, Bansgaon, Ghosi, Salempur, Ballia, Ghazipur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Mirzapur and Robertsganj constituencies.

Pot calling the Kettle black. Yogi you are living in glass house and hence don't forget to put-off the lights before changing your clothes. Have you forgotten you are a dynast both as MP and head of Gorakhnath Temple? Isn't it right that you became head of Gorakhnath Math after your maternal uncle, two-time BJP MP Mahant Avaidyanath alias Kripal Singh Bisht handed over the position to you Yogi Adityanath alias Mr Ajay Mohan Bisht? Just hiding your birth names does not absolve you of your dynasty roots. Zara khud ke girbaan mein zhaank ke dekho saab.

Sorry you forget that YOGI was not the son of the person who handed over the reigns of Mutt to him. More over his uncle was unrelated to the person who gave his uncle the mutt. More over he is talking about politics and not religion. Mutt matter is religious matter where as khangress /jds/dmk/ncp/tmc/nc/PDP r all in politics who r trying to control /rule the country.
