Rahul Gandhi should not resign now. That will be like playing into the hands of the balatkari party.

In BJP also they have started dynasty now. In Karnataka Yeddy's son is a MP, They gave ticket to Umesh Jadhav's son for MLA by poll. They were about to give ticket to Mrs. Anant Kumar but at the last moment changed.

It is there in all parties but only Gandhi family is being blamed without considering the sacrifice of that family to the nation. Only chaddis are behind this propaganda.

Rahul Gandhi should be firm in his decision and not fall for this sychophancy. This has gone on for too long and I believe that Rahul and the family have realized that these people are only hanging by their coat tails for their own benefit and not for the party or out of love for the Gandhis.

The Congress has to elect a new President from among its young leaders and not from amongst its old fossils. The Gandhi's can as ordinary party workers mentor the party and troubleshoot if and when necessary. Modi's claim of the Congress party being a dynastic party will be laid to rest and he will then be questioned on his failures of governance from which he has succeeded in diverting attention so far.

    @ Bhandarkar,
    Rightly said.
High time to bring drastic change in the leadership and at least salvage the sinking ship.
Rahul Gandhi has tried but no success because he is not capable to navigate the remaining voyage.
Every one is trying to push him forward and no body comes forward to take the responsibility.
    So sad!

Yes. It is time for some fresh blood to rejuvenate the grand old party. Its about time for a Woman Prime minister to make sure that the safety of Women and Children in this draconian, patriarchal, lawless country heading into a downward spiral of chaos. Sushmita Dev who is the president of All India Mahila Congress seems like a highly capable choice. She is well educated and needs more exposure within the party in the next five years.

    According to A K Anthony ...
Going from 44 to 52 seats is not..Disastrous... Then what is it?
A Cross between 'Stupendous' and 'Tremendous'...aa?.
It may have now struck Rahul that he does not have it in him...to be a shrewd politician and a work horse as his formidable opponents are.If that is the case...leave him alone and move forward.
If Congress had a new President in 2014 it's tally would have at least been near 100.
Try with a New Energetic face and see...
