Employee takes bath in Restaurant's kitchen sink, video goes viral

United States, May 30: A two minute video has gone viral showing a young employee of Wendy’s restaurant taking bath in a kitchen sink. The video was shared on Facebook on Tuesday along with vomit emojis and a caption saying: “I don’t suggest anyone eating at the Milton Wendy’s again…”. The reputed American fast food restaurant chain said the aforementioned employee has been sacked from his role with immediate effect.

In the video, a shirtless young man is seen climbing barefoot into the kitchen sink filled with soap lather, while his colleagues are encouraging him and recording video on their phones.

Inciting the employee,one person seemed shouting Go, go go go, oh s***,”

“Take a bath, take a bath. Get in there,” the person says.

“How does it feel?,” another person asks the young man.

“It’s warm,” the man in the sink replies as people in Wendy’s uniforms watch and record it on their cell phones, according to a CBS report.

“Wash your armpits, ooh yeah ooh” the voice behind the camera urges the grinning young man.

Within 15 hours of being posted, the video had been viewed nearly 200,000 times.

According to the person who posted the video, it happened in a Wendy’s in Milton, Florida.

In a statement to WEAR-TV, marketing director of Wendy’s parental company Carlisle said, “This was a prank by a person who no longer works at this restaurant, and who clearly did not use good judgement, we are taking this opportunity to reinforce our very strict quality procedures with our restaurant team.”
