World Environment Day: Khattar for eco-friendly ways


Chandigarh, June 5 (IANS): On World Environment Day on Wednesday, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar urged people to adopt eco-friendly practices to save the nature.

"Let's commit ourselves on #WorldEnvironmentDay to motivate people for adopting eco-friendly practices to save mother earth and curb pollution," he tweeted.

"Our effective efforts today will be pivotal to save environment and its sanctity for future. Keep clean, stay green!" he said.

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) has chosen air pollution as the theme for this year's World Environment Day.
