One dead, several injured in Bengal violence

Kolkata, Jun 11 (IANS): A 50-year-old Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker's body was recovered in West Bengal's Hooghly district on Monday, amid suspicion that he was murdered, police said.

The recovery of the BJP worker's body created a stir in the area.

"Somotul Dolui, 50, was found dead this afternoon. As he is a BJP worker, the family members and other supporters suspect he was murdered," an officer of Amta police station said.

The officer said they could find no external injury and the whole matter can be ascertained only after post-mortem.

In another incident, there were disturbances surrounding BJP's protest march in Cooch Behar district's Sitalkunchi.

An officer of Sitalkunchi police station said a clash broke out in which a BJP worker was injured. But no formal complaint has been filed.

Meanwhile, an incident of vandalism of Trinamool Congress' party office was reported in Hooghly's Pursurah.

Its the mind like you who murder the party workers then say its a strategy. TMC is allowing bangladesi to illegally come to India for vote bank and they dont have job and then join TMC to become murderers. Else TMC wouldnt have won a single seat.. Its the strategy of TMC . The same people go to kashmir to become terrorist. And ya you speak about Kerala, first go and ask RaGA to stop people from joining ISIS from kerala
