Raebareli, Jun 13: Sonia Gandhi was earlier seen in Raebareli giving her first speech since the election results were announced. She targeted the BJP by stating that they are 'crossing limits of dignity' to continue their rule in the country.
Sonia Gandhi, pointed out that the electoral process had a lot of loopholes and she subtly pointed it to be rigged. She further stated that the antics opted by the BJP candidates to get votes displayed their decadent behaviour. She said she owed her gratitude to the voters who stood by her side and got her the victory.
As we look into the election results it was a clean sweep that the BJP enjoyed over Congress. They had managed to overpower the opposition in over 18 states and union territories though, there have been few who were critical of BJP’s campaign strategies. They were under fire for invoking the INA after the Pulwama attack and Balakot air strikes. The rebranding of the army as Modi’s army by chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, enraged the opposition.

Gandhi channeled all these topics into her speech and condemned the BJP. Congress had earlier also disapproved the Election Commissions for providing a clean chit to Prime Minister Modi for the course of his campaigns.
General secretary, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra had also accompanied her mother to Raebareli. She singled out all those party members who brought down the polls.
