Three-wheeler driver injured in alleged army firing in Pulwama


Srinagar, Jun 22 (IANS): A three-wheeler driver was injured late on Friday evening in alleged army firing in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district.

Police sources said Muhammad Shafi Ganai, a three-wheeler driver was flagged down by army soldiers at a check post in Romishi Nallah late on Friday.

"The driver ignored the signal and drove past the check post after which the soldiers fired. The driver sustained a gunshot injury on his hand. He has been admitted at a hospital in Srinagar city for treatment," police sources said.
