Himachal Chief Justice takes oath of office


Shimla, Jun 22 (IANS): Himachal Pradesh Chief Justice V. Ramasubramanian was administered the oath of office by Governor Acharya Devvrat at a simple but an impressive ceremony here.

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, his cabinet colleagues, high court judges and senior government functionaries attended the oath-taking ceremony.

The ceremony took place at the Darbar Hall of the Raj Bhawan, where Chief Secretary B.K. Agarwal conducted the proceedings and read out the warrant of appointment issued by the President.
