Faridabad, Jun 27: Congress spokesperson Vikas Chaudhary was shot by unknown assailants in Faridabad on Thursday and later succumbed to his injuries. Chaudhary was shot at whilst travelling by his car on his way back from a gym.
As per sources, over 10 bullets were fired at Chaudhary’s car while he was sitting inside. He was rushed to a local hospital where he died later. Police is yet to identify the men who fired the bullets at the Congress leader. CCTV footages showed the assailants in mask raining bullets on his car.

Two men can be seen approaching Vikas Chaudhary's sports utility vehicle from both sides. While one assailant shot him through the wind-shield, the other pumped bullets from the drivers side.
Condemning the incident, Haryana Congress president Ashok Tanwar said, "It is jungle raj here, there is no fear of law. Same kind of incident happened yesterday where a woman who opposed molestation was stabbed. There should be an investigation."
