Mangaluru: St Raymond PU College celebrates International Day against Drug Abuse

Mangaluru, Jun 29: "Student life is the golden time in life. Form a better future by good education. Gain good health by keeping away from bad habits. Do not become slaves to drugs," said, police inspector Siddagowda Bhajantri at the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking celebration that was held at the St Rayomond PU College in the city.

Speaking on the occasion, Sub-inspector Nagaraj said, "Drugs instigate a person to commit offence. So it is always better to be alert against such menace."

The programme was presided over by Sr Sadhana B S, principal of the college. Jayarama Gowda, director of physical education, Vishel Noronha and Rishant Fernandes, members of NSS unit of the college were present on the dais.

Abdul Rehman, programme executive of NSS compered the programme.
