Keshni Anand Arora becomes third sister to be Haryana CS


Chandigarh, Jun 30 (IANS): Keshni Anand Arora has been appointed the new Chief Secretary of Haryana - the third of three sisters to hold the top post.

Before Arora, a 1983-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, her sisters -- Meenakshi Anand Chaudhary and Urvashi Gulati -- were Chief Secretary of the state.

Arora succeeds D.S. Dhesi, who retired on Sunday. She is the senior-most bureaucrat in Haryana and will retire on September 30, 2020.
