DCW chief demands action on flesh trade in spa centres in Delhi

New Delhi, Jul 1 (IANS): Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief Swati Maliwal on Monday hit out at the Delhi Police for not acting against spa centres in the national capital, alleging many of them were being used for prostitution.

"Fourteen spa centres raided in Noida out of which prostitution rackets found in three. When will Delhi Police check the large-scale prostitution rackets running spa centres in Delhi," Maliwal tweeted.

The Noida Police on Sunday busted a sex racket being operated in three spa centres.

A total of 35 persons, including women and foreign nationals, were arrested.
