Daijiworld Media Network (SR)

Delhi, Jul  2: There was chaos outside the congress party office on Tuesday, as a party worker threatened to hang himself if Rahul Gandhi does not withdraw his resignation. Speaking to news agency ANI, he said: "Rahul Gandhi should take back his resignation else I will hang myself."

Congress party workers across all ranks are protesting ever since Rahul Gandhi submitted his resignation as party chief. Gandhi tendered his resignation following the dismal show of the party in the Lok Sabha election.

As reported in Zee news, several party leaders sat on an indefinite strike on Tuesday. Hundreds of Congress workers, most of who had resigned from various party posts on Friday, gathered at the party headquarters and sat on strike.

Edwin Dhattu. Indians have rejected your RaGa . What future are you saying? Defeat in Amethi and victory in Wayanad was not acceptable. The Gandhi family should pull out and let someone else lead the party without their intervention. its proven beyond doubt. New blood, New strategies,New ideas have to be given a chance. Only then can you talk of revival and looking into the future. It has to kick start now 5 years is a long time.

The guys who are on strike have be pulled up and be expelled from the party. They want RaGa as the president, so they could have their lazy lethargic ways and relax . Currently there is no accountability. Parties have to work hard and deliver. So a change is required in Congress.
