3 killed in Turkey car explosion


Ankara, Jul 5 (IANS) At least three people were killed in a car explosion in Turkey's Hatay province on Friday.

"It is obvious that the car was bomb-laden," President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, adding that the explosion was suspected to be terrorist act, Anadolu news agency reported.

Three Syrian nationals were killed in the incident, he said, citing Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu.

A large number of ambulances and police teams were dispatched to the scene after the explosion.
