Dubai, Jul 6: A Dubai Court of First Instance on Thursday, heard a case of two Pakistani bus drivers, aged 28 and 24, accused of stealing fuel worth Dh 107,000 and selling it to unknown people.
The two defendants were working as drivers at Emirates transport located in Al Rashidiya area.
An Emerati manager working in the company said the first defendant, who is at large as per official records, sold fuel worth Dh 90,000 from June to October 2017, while the other defendant sold fuel worth Dh 17,000 during the same period. The forgery came to light when another driver tried to use the fuel card issued by the company, but it was found to be exhausted.

The official in records said that the fuel cards given to the defendants were used several times by them for several buses. The second defendant admitted of embezzlement and the verdict is expected to be on July 25.
