Mangaluru: Police drive against drug menace - Another case unearthed

Mangaluru, Jul 6: The police, who have been relentlessly carrying out a drive against drugs abuse, had arrested a drug peddler last week and cocaine was recovered from him.

Now, the department has succeeded in tracing another major gang of drug traffickers. Seven accused have been arrested, and ten grams of MDM (ecstasy drug), 500 grams of ganja, and four mobile phones have been seized from the accused. Initial information is that the accused have been getting their quota of drugs from Mumbai.

Names of three among the arrested accused have been given as Kishen, Bathish, and Hakim.

Further investigation is on.

    should be caught.. and skinned alive..
    This is a curse.let our innocent Students be exposed to this curse. and be addicted.
    This will destroy individuals..their love done s..families.
    This is a huge Curse to our society.
    These Goons think of them selves at some one else's cost and life.
    do not let this happen....at any cost.
    Let the society .community stand up and fight..

    Like this type of people are responsible for supplying drugs / ganjas to the addicted youth which causes Rapes, murder, fights, accidents etc.
    Govt should take actions to stop all these.

    Let a new rule like 5 years or 10 years rigorous punishment or death sentence for the proven case of drug peddling to stop the menace.
