Raj Thackeray holds meeting with Sonia in Delhi

New Delhi, Jul 8 (IANS): Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackrey on Monday met UPA Chairperson and senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi here.

According to Congress leaders, Thackrey met Gandhi at her residence here and their meeting lasted for over 30 minutes.

Party leaders described the meeting as a courtesy call.

The meeting assumes significance as Assembly elections in Maharashtra are scheduled later this year.
