New Delhi, Jul 11 (IANS): A toddler died after falling off the roof of a private school where his labourer parents were working, police said on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Sahil, one and a half years old, who lived with his family in Neb Sarai area .
"The toddler had come with his parents who were working as labourers inside the school. On Tuesday afternoon, while the parents were working on the roof, the toddler fell down from the construction site. He was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead, said DCP, Central, M.S. Randhawa said that the police have registered a case and are investigating.
Prima facie, it appears that the accident was due to the negligence of parents in leaving the child unattended, he added.
