22 policemen injured in Jharkhand road accident


Ranchi, Jul 13 (IANS): As many as 22 policemen were injured in a road accident in Jharkhand's Ramgarh district on Saturday, the police said.

Fifty-two Jharkhand Armed Police (JAP) personnel were on their way to Deoghar for the Shravani Mela duty from Ranchi when the bus driver lost control and hit a tree in the Sikidari valley.

The condition of five of the injured constables is stated to be critical.
