KIA Motors to step into Mangaluru with ‘Seltos’, bookings open from Jul 16

Mangaluru, Jul 16: KIA Motors, one of the largest automobile manufacturers in the world, is now stepping to India with a brand new SUV ‘Seltos’. The long wait has come to an end for people of Mangaluru as they can pre-book the SUV from July 16.

KIA Motors, a Korean company, which was started in the year 1944, has set a huge bench mark all over the globe. KIA Motors, now stepping in to Indian market has raised lot of expectations and demands among people.

The brand new SUV KIA ‘Seltos’ is expected to be unveiled all over India on August 22.

KIA Motors showroom in Mangaluru soon

Mangalureans can soon walk into the new KIA Motors showroom which is under construction near City Hospital. It is expected to be completed in short time.

KIA Motors has 15 manufacturing units and assembly line across the globe. Over 35.6 lac cars have been manufactured in addition of 3 lac cars which will be manufactured in India.

KIA Motors has always been in the forefront globally with their service and coverage of cities. Now they are set to begin their journey in India with nationwide dealerships and service centres. KIA Motors will have 265 touch points, presence in 160 cities, 206 sales points and 192 service points across the country.

‘Seltos’ will come with colour variants such as intense red, glacier white pearl, steel silver, gravity grey, aurora black pearl, intelligence blue and punchy orange.

Smartstream BS6 Compliant Engine

KIA Seltos will come in petrol, turbo-petrol and diesel versions and drivers would also have the option to choose from 'Normal', 'Eco' and 'Sport' mode.

New 536 acre manufacturing unit at Ananthpur

KIA Motors, has commenced trial production at its greenfield manufacturing facility in Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh.

This is Kia's 15th plant and signifies the completed construction of the new 536-acre manufacturing facility, and marks the arrival of Kia’s new flagship car for India.

    KIA motors is the sister Brand of Hyundai motors, maruti Suzuki will have another genuine compitation now. KIA motors will obviously use the experience from Hyundai motors Which is obviously seen to be the only potential compitation for maruti Suzuki . All the best KIA motors

    KIA Motors provides 10 year Warranty on their vehicles in Kuwait, which has one of the harshest weather and driving conditions in the world.

    I have used Hyundai Accent for 12 years with minimum maintenance and without any break downs until recently.

    Kia Means more death on Indian road. Kia Made if Korea is famous for below average on road safety and above 60% of Indian are not well trained in driving and 0 in road disciplinary most of them dont even know whats blind spot or uses of indicator signals , Now its time for Indian Government to upgrade Indian Driving system to international driving standards.

    Its has the great market share in GCC.Vehicles such as Kia sportage, Carnval, Stinger are the best selling cars.It's Parent company Hyundai is well accepted by the indian consumers. Definitly it will give a great competetion to Suzuki & Mahindra.

    Can't say coz Indian market is still prize sensitive... Seltos a five Seater costs around 11 to 17 lacs and Mahindra XUV 500 a seven Seater costs between 12 to 17 lacs.. XUV 500 is a good car and XUV 300 a five Seater costs less than Seltos.. And XUV300 is as good looking as Kia Seltos.. So can't write off both the vehicles.
