Man gives triple talaq within 24 hours of marriage

Barabanki (Uttar Pradesh), Jul 17 (IANS): A man has given triple talaq to his wife within 24 hour of getting married here in Uttar Pradesh, police said on Wednesday.

Shahe Alam, resident of Jahangirabad, had married Ruksana Bano on July 13 and divorced her after her family did not give him a motorbike in dowry.

The woman's father lodged an FIR and a case was registered under the Dowry Act against Alam and 12 member of his family.

The case was handed over to the Circle Officer at the Fatehpur police circle for further investigation.

Superitendent of Police Akash Tomar said that necessary action would be taken as soon as investigations was completed.

    Polygamy can be divides in to legal and illegal. Legal is very very seldom cases here in India where men found with multiple wives but as far as I know few Arabs during my Gulf stay I wonder they were spending happy and peaceful life than many of us who had single wives.
    It's a myth about polygamy brushing as evil of society. As per Islamic law person who can financially afford and justify among his wives only is permitted to marry up to 4 which is almost impossible here in India but yes there are people who still believe in illegal polygamy for enjoyment.

    marriage 💑 is not about purchasing a women on contract basis. your wife is not a machine 2 produce children den 2 abandon da children & giving talaq 2 wife & purchasing another on dowry. your book says if your women r rebellious beat them. men r not rebellious????????? what about missyar (temporary) marriages????????? is it not a prostitution????????? ksa is a world's biggest divorced women's in da world becoz dey follow da book There4 polygamy & dowry r evil's of da society.

    1. Demanding Dowry
    2 . Talaq, Talaq, Talaq.
    Both are crimes and not part of Islam.

    Dowry in Islam is called Mahr which is given by groom to the bride.
    Triple talaq is not pronounced at once. It's a process of a much longer period and gives three chances and reasons for not breaking the marriage bond.
    But, the ignorant people have misused it.

    Good question? If he comes out from jail and married once again with divorced wife you know the story of sheckchilli. However isalm open for dialog and solve problems with internally.
    In this case talaq not acceptable. That what Mr.Ahmed is explaning its take long process to unite or live this new married couples for chose their future life.
    Dowry is not allowed in islam, i hate this crime even in other religious practice.

    Yes.But so called fanatic clerics are justifying & promoting it.There is no strong fathwa coming out in this matter, whether it's Dowry or Tripple talak.The government intervention in this matter is need of the hour as it is voilating the basic human rights.
