Udupi, Jul 18: St Cecily's High School celebrated the feast of Our Lady of Mt Carmel with solemnity and joy.
Students of class X B presented a meaningful entertaining programme which aptly rendered obeisance to Our Lady of Mt Carmel in their prayer service. They enacted a skit depicting the epitome of a mother's love.
Another highlight of this programme was a conversation on the significance of the holy feast presented beautifully to an audience of 500 students.
The class also sang songs praising the love of every mother.
The Headmistress finally addressed the students with a motivating message that one must follow virtues like faith in God, humility, loving concern towards others, exemplified by Mother Mary.
