Punjab Assembly session from August 2


Chandigarh, Jul 24 (IANS): The Punjab Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, on Wednesday decided that the next session of the Assembly would be held from August 2 to 6, an official said.

A spokesperson of the Chief Minister's Office said that the session would commence in the afternoon of August 2 with obituary references, while legislative business would be transacted on August 5 and 6.

The house would adjourn sine die after the legislative business is completed.
