NIA raids businessman's house in J&K's Budgam


Srinagar, Jul 24 (IANS): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday raided the house of a businessman in Jammu and Kashmir's Budgam district.

Police sources said a team of NIA sleuths assisted by the state police and the CRPF raided the house of Muhammad Afzal Mir in Aripanthan village of Budgam district.

NIA sleuths had on Tuesday raided the house of another businessman engaged in cross-LoC trade in Pulwama district.

Sources said these raids are part of the investigations being carried out in the terror funding case.

NIA has already arrested many separatist leaders and prominent local businessman Zahoor Watali in the terror funding investigation.
