11 injured as fire breaks out in Delhi house


New Delhi, Jul 25 (IANS): Eleven people were injured when a fire broke out in a house in Outer Delhi's Nangloi area, Delhi Fire Service (DFS) officials said.

According to the Director of Delhi Fire Services, Atul Garg, a call about the fire was received at 12.46 p.m. on Thursday and three fire tenders were rushed to the spot.

"The fire broke out in a room of the house due to LPG leakage. 11 people, including nine women and two men, were injured and have been admitted in a nearby hospital," Garg said.

The fire was brought under control by 2:30 p.m., Garg said.
