Mangaluru, Jul 26: Isuzu Motors India Pvt Ltd organized a customer meet for the D-Max customers at The Ocean Pearl, here on July 24.
The customer meet was attended by Takeshi Hirano, vice president, ISUZU India Sales Operation, executive director, Cauvery Isuzu, Amitabh Singh, state manager, Karnataka and North Kerala, ISUZU Motors India, Sampath Mada, branch manager, Cauvery Isuzu, Sujith Kumar, Deekshith Shetty, business development officers of Cauvery ISUZU and esteemed customers of Cauvery ISUZU to who D-MAX, a commercial utility vehicle was delivered at the event.
ISUZU Motors entered the Indian market in 2012. Initially, after a thorough market study, they imported vehicles into the Indian sub-continent after which they went for a limited scale operation upto 2014-2015. With the dawn of 2016, ISUZU began its full scale operation by setting up state-of-the-art manufacturing plant at Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. This facility is spread over 107 acre and has a capacity scalable up to 120,000 units. ISUZU Motors entered into the Mangaluru market to cater to the expanding customer base in the year 2018 and is operating successfully in the region. Delightfully associated with ISUZU, the Cauvery group has recognized the potential need for efficient pick-ups and utility vehicles in Mangaluru and nearby districts that saw a significant rise providing a growing market for ISUZU D-MAX and mu-X vehicles here.
The event focused on educating the customers on the journey of brand ISUZU in manufacturing commercial vehicles from the year 1916 till date. It enlightened them on the business verticals of ISUZU, its leadership in the markets around the globe. The features of D-MAX were elaborately explained and the saga of how it has now penetrated diverse segments of the Indian market was illustrated. The aftersales services like mobile service vans and testimonials of the happy customers also added to the cognizant harmony in the minds of the new buyers. They seemed delighted with their purchase of ISUZU D-MAX.
