BSY used horse-trading to subvert democracy: Congress

Bengaluru, Jul 26 (IANS): The Karnataka Congress on Friday said that BJP state President B.S.Yeddyurappa (BSY) had used his excellent horse-trading skills to subvert democracy and come to power.

The Congress charge came minutes after the Raj Bhawan announced that Yeddyurappa would be sworn in as the new chief minister of the state later in the day.

"Corruption icon and former jail bird Shri BSY has used his excellent Horse Trading skills to subvert democracy and come to power," tweeted Congress.

"People of Karnataka remember his disastrous tenure as CM between 2008-2011, which ended with BSY in jail. History is all set to repeat again," it added.
