Bengaluru: Former chief minister Siddaramaiah to be opposition leader

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Jul 27: With the crumbling of the coalition government in the state, the parties have exchanged their roles. The Congress is in the opposition now along with its coalition partner, the JD(S).

Siddaramaiah will be the leader of the opposition for the present till a final decision is taken. There has been a suggestion to continue Siddaramaiah as the leader of the Congress legislature party and choose another MLA as the leader of the opposition.

However, the assembly session is being convened on Monday to enable Yediyurappa to prove his majority. On this occasion, the all-important finance bill would be moved and adopted. As such, the party leadership has decided to retain Siddaramaiah as the leader of the opposition instead of hurriedly searching for an alternative, party sources said.

Sir, It is not Congress, perhaps BJP being the largest democratic party in the world with more than 10 crores members is desperate for 'operation Kamala'.
I would rather say, Congress is silently laughing at BJP's plight who is totally depended on 'Vikram and Betala'.
Sir, The BJP has elected more from Congress and opposition in the newly elected Lok Sabha. Perhaps victory for Congress to get rid of 'RSS Mukth Bharath' in BJP.

Let Yeddy first pass floor test. Disqualified MLAs can not be counted. Govt can not make any resolutions on any issues for lack of majority number as per constitution. It will be a dumb name sake govt and wastage of tax payers money. Opposition will dictate terms. How about that!?!?!?!?!?....

If there was ' vishwas' on Yeddy then why he has to forcefully abduct MLAs to Mumbai and lockdown????. Now these MLAs are speaking in Marathi like you!!!!????....Effect of money and muscle power.
