Rs 23 lakh looted from bank in Jharkhand


Ranchi, Jul 29 (IANS): Four criminals looted Rs 23 lakh from a Bank of India branch in Jharkhand's Chatra district on Monday, police said.

The four came riding on two bikes at 9.40 a.m. to the bank, held the staff at gun point and looted the money from its chest before escaping. The police have launched a hunt for them.
